Ladder Logic, short for Ladder Diagram Programming, was developed in the late 1960s by Richard Morley and other engineers at Bedford Associates to program programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ladder Logic is a graphical programming language used for industrial automation, control systems, and machinery programming. It is primarily employed in factory automation, robotics, and process control.
