DNS

/d-n-s/

DNS, short for Domain Name System, is a fundamental component of how the internet functions. Think of DNS as the internet's address book, translating human-friendly website names (like www.example.com) into computer-readable IP addresses (like 192.0.2.1). When you type a website URL into your browser, your device relies on DNS to find the corresponding IP address, allowing you to access the desired webpage. Without DNS, we would need to memorize complex sequences of numbers for every website we visit, making the internet much less user-friendly. DNS operates behind the scenes, silently connecting us to the vast online world, ensuring smooth navigation, and making our internet experience seamless and efficient.
