I'm not sure how long ago the Email was sent to me. But it was labeled "scams". At first I wasn't going to read it, but for some reason I thought it involved me. And it did.
Anyway - the letter read something along the lines of, "your site is being used for a scam, I'd look into it before the feds come knocking on your door." -- etc etc
I copy the URL, So when I'm done reading my 109 Emails I can check it out. At first I thought, "could this be an activeX?", but I continued to check it out. Sure enough -- It did lead to my site. ypg-login.com, neato, huh? It seems that 'foam' was using me to host a lame scam site, in which he believes my hosting is, quote unquote, 'lame'.
Well, to make everything better. To the first person that Emails me a letter and idea of what to do with ygp-login.com [I prefer something funny as hell to be there] can have a site hosted by me. As well as the ygp-login.com ish.
Well, I rarely post anything anymore -- and it seems pheo posts EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING, so I'll just leave it at that.. but anyways, I'll be upgrading the RAM from 64mB to 256mB. It should make the site run smoother - since I do host EVERYTHING. Anyway, I've already added another 8mB of RAM.. it seems to run the CGI a lil smoother.. BUT ANYWAYS, I'm on the phone with mi gatita marina.. so I'm gunna go -- iatEz
interestingly enough i have found https://web.archive.org/web/20010515214624/http://www.bk.ath.cx posted on archive.org that shows the OG Black Kattz site i had created around the late 90s.
i roughly began dev on the site in 1997-1998 and was only visible to a single IP that i could access remotely. the BK site was, to my knowledge, the 1st usable "Cloud" and was made public so others could post around 1999-2000.
i had mentioned this site to close friends and before i knew it in 2000 the site would begin to have 2K unique visitors a day.
